1. Is Black Jack in local cardrooms/casinos played the same as in Las Vegas?
Yes, our Black Jack is played very similarly to the Las Vegas style.
2. Do you have slot machines?
No. Unfortunately slot machines are not allowed (illegal) in local cardrooms/casinos. However, we do offer Black Jack, Three Card Poker*, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Hold’em, and many other table games.
3. What is the difference between a local cardroom/casino and an Indian/Vegas casino?
California cardrooms/casinos can only offer table games. Under Federal and State law, Indian casinos are allowed to offer slot machines as well as table games. Las Vegas and Reno offer similar games granted by state law. Of course, our casinos are more fun and personable because of our cozy and intimate atmosphere. Surprisingly, we provide higher limit bets in our casinos than Las Vegas and Indian casinos.
4. How old do you have to be to gamble in CA cardrooms/casinos?
According to California law, you must be 21 years or older to play in a California casino/cardroom.
5. How is your casino legal in California?
Poker rooms started in the 1800’s. Since then, the game has evolved to allow for games that are played very similarly to Blackjack, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, and other games played in Las Vegas.
7. Does the player have to pay a ‘collection’?
In most games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, and Three Card Poker*, the player does not have to pay a collection fee. We have a policy not royal vegas casino to charge a collection for most of our table games. Your experience may differ at other local casinos not part of Park West Casinos.
8. Is smoking allowed in the casino?
We are a smoke-free casino. Smoking is allowed outside or in designated non-gaming smoking rooms.
9. Can you eat while you play?
Yes, only local cardrooms/casinos offer gaming table side dining. Make yourself cozy at the gaming table and we’ll roll a little side table to you with your food as well as give you discounts from our special player’s menu. If you prefer a more traditional dining setting, we also offer a full restaurant and bar. All of Park West Casinos are known for its exceptional food.
